The right frame size is crucial for your comfort and riding style. To find a suitable refurbished e-bike, the most important factor—besides your height—is your inseam length.

To calculate the frame size, you first need to measure your inseam. Stand barefoot and as upright as possible with your back against a wall. Then place a thick book between your thighs and pull it up firmly so that it sits in your crotch like a saddle, with you “sitting” on the book’s spine. Ideally, have a second person help you measure by using a tape measure to read your inner leg length from the floor to the top edge of the book’s spine.

Multiply the result by a factor (0.66 for city and trekking bikes; 0.55 for mountain bikes) to calculate the recommended frame size in cm.

Example calculation:
You have an inseam of 85 cm and want to buy a refurbished e-mountain bike. To determine the correct frame size, you calculate:
85 cm × 0.55 = 46.75 cm

So the correct frame size is 47 cm.

Which of our refurbished e-bikes is right for you mainly depends on what you want to use it for. In the city, a city or trekking bike with a moderately powered motor is often sufficient. For hilly terrain or sporty tours, a more powerful motor with higher torque or a frame with durable suspension makes sense.

By paying attention to the following points when buying, you can significantly narrow down your options and find the right e-bike:

• Frame size and geometry need to match your height and riding position.
• Motor and battery are key to ride feel and range—the more assistance and capacity, the longer and more powerfully you can ride.
• Do you need a rear rack, mudguards, or lights? Choose a model whose equipment matches your everyday requirements.
• Weight and handling are especially important for daily use. If you need to carry your e-bike or often maneuver it around the city, be sure to factor this in.

The cost for standard shipping of your LikedBike within Germany is €49.00. For nationwide express shipping within Germany, we charge €99.00.

For standard shipping of your LikedBike to another EU country (Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden), you pay €79.00. If you would like to use express shipping to an EU country, the fee is €129.00.

Our LikedBikes warranty covers malfunctions related to the electric assistance system (battery, motor, display, etc.) as well as the frame (cracks, breaks). The warranty is valid for 1 year from the date your e-bike is handed over to you.

Refurbished means you are purchasing a previously used e-bike that has been thoroughly inspected and serviced before delivery. All refurbished e-bikes you buy from LikedBikes are in technically flawless condition.

Defective or worn parts are replaced according to the following criteria:

• Brake pads: wear > 70%
• Brake disc: if the wear limit has been reached
• Tires: wear > 50%
• Chain: if stretched beyond the tolerance limit
• Chainring/Sprocket: in case of deformation or damage
• Grips: wear > 50%
• Pedals: wear > 50%
• Battery/Motor/Display/Control unit: if damaged

Major scratches and/or scuffs on the frame are repaired. Refurbished bikes may show minor signs of use.
